Coca-Cola has introduced Coca-Cola Y3000, a beverage made with the help of artificial intelligence.
It’s the latest special flavor released as part of Coca-Cola’s Creations platform. This year, they’ve already launched Y3000 Zero Sugar and a version with regular sugar in select places worldwide, including the United States.
Coca-Cola started the Creations platform in 2022 to showcase their main drink and attract younger consumers. They’ve come up with seven different flavors so far.

Earlier this year, Becks, a beer company, used AI to pick their favorite flavor from millions of possibilities. In 2022, Mars, a company known for things like chocolate, worked with an AI-driven company to find new plant-based ingredients.
For Coca-Cola Creations, using AI makes sense. It gets younger people interested in trying the drink, and maybe they’ll start enjoying other Coca-Cola drinks too.
Unlike other Creations drinks, this new one doesn’t focus on a specific taste like cola or cherry. Instead, it promises a special feeling or experience.
Oana Vlad, who helps make big decisions at Coca-Cola, explained, “We want to celebrate everyone’s idea of what the future might look like, inspired by the timelessness of Coca-Cola.” She added that with the help of AI, Coca-Cola Y3000 Zero Sugar imagines what a future Coca-Cola might taste like and introduces exciting new experiences.
Coca-Cola put together this Y3000 drink by combining human feelings, dreams, colors, and flavors with ideas from people all over the world and suggestions from artificial intelligence.
The drink has a modern look, with bright colors and a logo made of bubbles. The Coca-Cola writing is designed to look fluid and connected, symbolizing how people will be connected in the future.
